4 weeks notice at work but I'm ill

OP seemed to ask a really simple question here. They appear to have resigned as they admit they cannot carry on working for them, but the employer wants them in on notice. But OP is not fit to work and does not want to be there any more. So send in sick note for the required period of notice which appears to have been given in post 1.0
