Getting a grip in 2012

I've been lurking on here for years with the sporadic post from time to time. Over the last 12 months I've tried to sort myself out and fix my sloppy attitude to money but I've decided (along with most of the UK it seems by how busy this forum is) that 2012 is my year.
I was pleasantly surprised earlier when I done my SOA and a snowball. I can apparently be debt free in 14 months. I was excited cos my 5 year bank loan was due to end in 14 months but to think I can clear EVERYTHING, (including the car loan which has years left) and still have a small budget for luxuries was very appealing!
So...no holiday this year, getting involved with a few challenges, knuckling down, trying to become debt free by March 2013, which will be a lovely little birthday pressie to myself!
I Ebay, mystery shop, Pinecone and am trying to bag myself a new job that pays a bit more than I'm on just now which will help things along the way.
So...any hints and tips?
