We also had major problems with our Silent Night Pillow Top Mattress.
Absolute nightmare. We had it changed after a big saga, and the 2nd ones were just as bad. Fit for the tip in less than a year :(
Would never ever buy Silent Night again.

When will people learn, £600 off a massively over inflated price is still too much.

Does any shop ever sell anything honestly anymore? Just sir that's the price of the product, no sales, no gimmicks it's costs xxxxx?

For Miracoil 3 mattress from Silentnight the £149 and £199 price tag is just about right, but look around and you'll pick up the better quality Miracoil 7 for not much more!

  • When I was mattress researching on here Silentnight seemed to have a very bad rep so I steered well clear of them. Agree about the inflated RRP too.
  • If you are happy with a Silentnight pillow top - I'm willing to bet it's under 2 years old.
Ours was lovely for the first year- we had a 'double' pillowtop so able to turn it, which we did regularly. After just over a year we bought a memory foam topper to extend the life - could feel every spring.
Gave up on it after 2 years - like MANY others and went for a pocket sprung. Wouldn't touch Silentnight, Sealey or the same brand beds EVER again.
I do have a Sealy single bed in the spare room which is 25years old, used occassionally and still excellent. Shame times have changed so much I'd not even buy for a spare room now.

  • did order a mattress from very last night, after reading so many reviews, I just rang then & cancelled the order, Ive had my matress for nearly 11 years & its still as comfortable as the day I bought it, dont want to buy a matress that is only going to last a year or so, & have to get rid of such a comfortable mattress like I have, just thought, after 11 years I should think about replacing it, but maybe another time, decided, mine may be old now, but its still has comfortable as ever

I wouldn't buy, I bought these last year and the beds are already ruined. Don't waste your money
