  • If it's not your name, just bin it. Or maybe just keep the letters unopened, just in case the addressee wants to come round and collect her mail. (Maybe you could find her and ask her to correct her information) :)
    If the company sending it has the wrong information, it's not your problem. If a debt company is chasing a debtor and they are given a false address it's not up to you to help them.

    So now what? We regulary send back "not known at this address" from the previous occupants but we are concerned about that a previous poster put about then ending up with no post at all even that which was addressed to them!

    Never heard of that happening, and if it was a real risk I would have had.

    Just send it back "not known".
