I clean my kabuki brushes every two weeks usually, when I can get away without using them for a day so they can dry naturally. Bronzer brush is more like 3-4 weeks aka nowhere near enough!
Other brushes I don't use often so clean them after every use otherwise they could end up festering for a month without me realising.
All natutal brushes so I use a natural shampoo only because it's not very good on my hair and need to use it somehow, otherwise I'd use cheaper baby shampoo.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Every month with whathever shampoo I have lying around, dont forget to always dry them flat:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

whenever they look like they need it, monthly probably for bronzer/powder brushes, weekly for foundation brush. I use hand soapThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I use an organic baby shampoo for a deep clean. However, wouldn't mind using something that kind of spot cleans the brushes.0

I use Tesco's value baby bath. Its so mild, and gentle. I only clean mine, when looking worse for wear. I buy an Estee Lauder make-up artists collection, every few years or so, which has a fresh set of brushes in, and only use the blusher brush daily, and occasionally the powder brush. The others not so often.Oh well...

How do you get them to dry out in time for the next use?0 -
I aim for once a week but it's more likely once a month because I just forget. I use a kids shampoo because it doesn't leave any silicones behind like adult shampoos can, I like the L'Oreal Kids Cherry Almond one, smells like bakewell tarts. The current bottle has lasted a year a half, and when it's on offer again I'll buy another one.
I'll put them on the windowsill over a radiator in the evening and give them a ruffle up before going to bed, they're dry by morning.0 -
I haven't ever washed my brushes to be honest as I used to rarely wear makeup however I have gotten some new brushes recently so haven't washed them but I think I will aim for once a month or two depending on usage. I have elfs daily brush cleansing spray and their brush was which can be bought here:
