    Actually, if we are referring to the same thing (which I think we are) I had to wrack my brains and google for ten minutes to work it out myself! 2004 is a long long time ago, especially at my age :)

    I actually did mean S(weet) F(anny) A(dams), which is an old fashioned, sanitised way of saying Sweet F All.
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    I seem to remember a while back in the NHS that if christmas day/boxing day fell on a weekend you could claim bank holiday pay for the day itself or the bank holiday, but if you worked both you couldn't claim bank holiday rates for both days

    This year my NHS is only paying PH rates for boxing day and 26th and the 2nd and 3rd. So the poor souls working Christmas and New Years Day get paid less !!!
    Any other NHS staff out there? Did you get paid PH rates for Christmas and New Years Day?
