We have a paper, card, plastic recycling kerbside collection but the local supermarket has a collection box solely for cards, is there any advantage to my using that?

In the normal recycling bin paper would just be 'recycled' in the supermarkets christmas card bins i think they go to some sort of charity to be cut up and reused as tags and things.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I don't bother taking my old Christmas cards to the special recycling. I cut off the fronts and make gift tags for next year (reusing and saving money) and then just put the other side into my normal recycling bin. I think the special card bins were useful when councils didn't take card for recycling, a bit redundant for those that do.0
