Advice - debt being sold...again!

Hi

I defaulted on HSBC loan (my biggest debt) and eventually the debt was sold to Rockwell, they have agreed to freeze interest and have finally accepted my offer of monthly payment, I have this going through on Standing Order.

I've recently received a letter stating that the debt has been sold on now and to continue making payments at agreed amount. Now, sorry to sound dumb but what happens to the standing order I have to Rockwell, do I cancel it and arrange payment through new company or does Rockwell transfer it accross to new company?

Thanks in advance and apologies for my dumbness here!

Who is the stated owner now?

I have come across a case where a debt was 'sold' from Rockwell to Arrow and threatening letters started from Fenton Cooper and ELS Cole. These are all the same group so payments made to Rockwell were still be credited to the account.
