crown fell off implant

Hello, I'm after some advice please. I have an implant towards the back of my mouth (just before where my wisdom teeth would be if I had any). Anyway, was eating a roast potato today & felt that sickening crunch of tooth that is not where it should be. The crown has come off my implant, it's not broken at all. My question is, does anyone think that I need to call my dentist's emergency number tomorrow, or can it wait until Tues? By the way, it doesn't hurt.
Many thank,s CG.

Is it your dentist who placed the implant? If not then you are best talking to the dentist who placed the implant and crown.

Crowns coming off implants are not generally considered an emergency but talk to the implant and crown placing dentist to make arrangements to get it sorted.

I am assuming here it is actually an implant you are talking about not a post retained crown ie a metal post inside what is left of your own tooth holding a crown on. In which case any dentist can deal with that, phone your practice to make arrangements to get advice and an appointment.

It was my own dentist that placed it. Thanks for the advice, I'll call on Tues.

Sorry, have just seen your edit - it is an implant, not a post retained crown. Thanks for your help.
