Busy day here. I have finally taken down and boxed all the decorations, bar the lights, so will get that all in the loft tomorrow. The bare tree is still in the LR, DH can do that tonight or tomorrow depending on when he is home. A bit more dusting to do in there and a good hoover up.

    Dinner and kitchen tidy next.

    Hi all

    Happy Birthday Greenbee.

I've cleaned my whole house from top to bottom today i even cleaned Ds1's room. I had a problem with the toilet and had to contact the landlord and because he never did do the inspection before Christmas i was worried he'd do all at once. As it was he sent someone else and they're fixing it now (i hope he hurries up because i need a wee :o). It'll be nice to not have to spend all weekend playing catch up though so i'm looking forward to that.

I'm going out tonight to a party with OH and i really CBA. I'm going to do a quick egg chips and beans and then start getting ready.

Thanks for all the birthday messages. I've had a lovely couple of days - OH cooked supper last night and we had an evening in, and then got up at the crack of dawn for presents which was lovely, and then went back to bed for most of the morning ;) I've got friends coming round tonight, and am going out for a walk with other friends tomorrow.

I have taken the decorations down and the tree is outside the front door - I will move it round to the back tomorrow to dry out for kindling. The electrician has been and he and OH have arranged to finish the wiring while I'm away in just over a week. I have some clearing up to do in the sitting room - present wrappings and hoovering up the christmas tree needles, but otherwise the house isn't looking to bad. Next week I need to start making phone calls about getting the floors upstairs sorted (before I start on the rest of the redecoration!).

Might catch up over the weekend...

    Have a brilliant weekend greenbee!

My day has not gone as planned yet again. Still cleaning oily soot from ther kitchen floor and cabinets :(

Also have spent a lot of time sorting out accounts and invoices as I have completely muddled everything on Quickbooks and we are going to start again. Good news is that I don't have to put in a self assessment tax whatsit until next year. My mind has gone blank... too many numbers...

valli Yay!! for your son. You must be very proud :)

DS1 is actually.......... almost faints with shock.......sorting out his room!! He starts his first full time job on Monday and I very nicely told him that if it wasn't sorted I was starting on it on Monday :D He has 8 years of carp to go through.
