we spent 2 hours in the park yesterday with DS and his friend. They loved it, fed the ducks, or tried to, most of the pond was still iced over, although the parkkeeper had been along in the morning and cracked it so they could move around. Played in the playground and then had masses of fun running through the tiny wooded area and chasing the squirrels.
I wish I had the energy of a 4 year old. My vow is to take DS on more nature walks this year. We have some nice wooded areas he would enjoy exploring. Just need some wellies!0 -

Johnny: Seven, Sir.:rotfl:
Teacher: No, listen carefully.
If I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2, how many will you have?
Johnny: Seven:rotfl:
Teacher: Let me put it to you differently.
If I gave you 2 apples, and another 2 apples and another 2, how many will you have?

Teacher: Good. Now if I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2,

A very angry Teacher: Where the hell do you get seven from?!?!?
Very angry Johnny: Because I've already got a BLOODY' cat at home!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.”0 -

ahh that explains it I thought blackpool was a popular destination .This being said sounds like there is always a good wombling there!
Maybe that could be a new thing wombling holidays - bus tours that go round supermarket car parks :rotfl:

How is everyone going on holiday after christmas??I am at inlaws because we is skint so dont have to pay for food here!
(don't mind me im just jealous hope you had a wonderful time)
Love the joke BTW0 -
Well being here in devon with less to distract me is useful.
Managed to read through most of my backlog of magazines and almost finished my book.
Also got my advent callender x-stitch started. All these mini misions i wanted to complete!
I have also begun on my new years resolutions.
In an effort to loose weight I have swapped my sugar for sweetner and my butter for lurpak lightest(can't stand flora no matter how i try)
Small things but its a start.
I have also sat this morning and created a new email and FB account so I can get my couponing and comping away from my proper account.
Now to tackle twitter.
(I'mkinda proud of me its only 1/2 way through jan)!0 -
Ok i now have a couponing twittwr account. If i like it i might actually get a real one as looking at my last post i have plenty of carp i like to post;)
So who do i need to follow for coupony bargains?0 -
Well done FT! you have achieved so much.
I have closed my FB account and just sticking to my normal one. It was too much getting 100 friend requests and when entering comps and stuff making sure it had my real name.
Twitter is a combo of everything! Comps, swagbucks, etc.
advent calendar x stitch sounds fab! does it have doors you open?
shame about sweetner, I just took 3 unopened packets to work last week! cleaned out all my cupboards and had it in for friends who never use it!
will see if it is still there on tuesday0 -
