    Oh Dear!

Things went badly wrong at Sainsbobs today.

    I bought Silver Dettol handwash
    400g Lake District mature cheese
    20 Tampax regular
    2 x Basics clingfilm
    Basics Meat Lasagne 1.5kg
    400g basics mince

    Total spend £20.01

Expected to get back £6.20 - actually got back 58p :eek::eek:

Anyone any idea what went wrong?
Has anyone had Brandmatch on the Dettol?

This happened to me as well but I got other variety not the silver one as our local did not have that...:(:(:(:(

But anyway me paid nowt with other SBM voucher and CS coupon....;)

Its better to call them and make sure. call their 0800 no. and ask for CS team. You need to have receipt with you, as they ask for the numbers on receipt.

    HTH;)

Eeek, busy busy day - just sorted my SSM coupons to hit Tacto tomorrow and must admit there's more than I realised - I really hope they don't complain about the number I have to use.

also dug out the Dettol Handwash ones but really nervous about trying to put three units and 6 coupons through together....was going to do it in one separate transaction, anyone got any tips? please? (no Doc, I don't mean the tip being send them to you lol!) x

yes, my tip is c/o to me:rotfl::D

Lets put it this way Kerri, the dettol coupons are legit so stand your ground if the CA is making a fuss.

If you are going to use loadsa loadsa coupons me suggest that you split your groceries because the 3 dettols already reaching £15 JTD + any other items that you can get JTD.

    Do your spreadsheet :-

    eg:-
Tesco Asda : JTD Coupons to use
    3 x dettol £29.97 - £15.00 £14.97 £8 x 3
    1 bessies £1.98 - £1.00 £.98 50p
    oral B £1.29 -£1.00 £.29 £1
    Pantene £2.89 -£2.00 £.89 £2.00
    Pantene £2.89 -£2.00 £.89 £2.00

    £5.00 daily Mail

So add up Tesco less Asda - JTD

Less Tesco total against your coupons = xx amount you need to pay

    JTD Approx £18.00

Don't do one transaction as I think you will be out of pocket.

    Night Night xx

  • shopping list is now updated

some l'oreal skin care products are £2 again in A's

  • curiously does anyone know what the limit for coupons on the self serves at tesco is,
for example in my sains you can put £2.50's worth through
and then the supervisor has to do the rest.
Just much prefer serving myself for the little bits tis much quicker :D

  • Is everyone still processing on SSM? :(
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

still processing? i never won anything, as I went to bed sick that night. I wish they had thought more about this and staggered the prizes, giving more people a chance to win over weeks rather one weekend :(
