Evening all, best womble in Mr A today for ages, 26 receipts! 7 to check tomorrow, £15 from 6 of them, 1 a Mr T (68 cc points and will check JTD) and the other 12 nada, including two really long ones which I would have thought would have had something.

Hugs to all, how is the weekend over already?

we picked up a couple of receipts today but don't think there will be enough qualifying receipts.

my A has really tightened it's reins! went to use self scan, went to scan coupons, it says on the coupon deposit, please call SA for assistance! You are not allowed to deposit coupons anymore.... the SA has to check you have purchased the products! I didn't mind, as I had, but she had sooooooooooo much trouble scanning the rest through, she didn't have a clue what she was doing!

My Asda self scan has never allowed me to deposit any coupons. SA always comes to check them but Tesco self scan does allow me to deposit upto 2 coupons without checking

Cheers, it's been a bit barren there for a while so was nice to have a good wee haul. One on the receipts with nothing on was an already used APG for £8.25 - darn that would have been nice. I'm ususally playing tag with the trolly men but they didn't seem to be about as much today. That said, most came from the bushes, helps that its been dry and breezy for the past few days here, roll on BBQ season :D

I used to do quite well but it has gone as dead as a dodo now because they promote it so much instore people keep hold of their receipts more so poor pickings

my sainsbobs, ts and A always allowed us to scan our own coupons and deposit. Sainsbobs had £5 limit on coupons. But A is former netto, and quite small, assume they were getting ripped off.
  • Newbie here and loving couponing.
A little question. Do you shop at Mr A knowing your shopping will be cheaper elsewhere so you can get APG? And does this include coupons in your total shopping?
I have been looking round the forum but cant find anything about it so if i am just being dumb please point me in the right directions :)

    yes and yes :D

if you use MT's shopping list and moneysupermarket, you can work out what is more expensive at A than T, buy that stuff and then get a nice APG back. And you can still use coupons, this does not affect the way A calcuate the APG.
