Morning all, off out shortly to spend my £5 MOC in M&S from yesterday's paper.

Have a good day, hopefully with plenty of APG's and wombles. Went to my local Asda yesterday but the car park is so clean. :( Couldn't even find a piece of paper, never mind a receipt!

Is there an idiots guide to using photobucket anywhere? I said I would post a picture of some flowers I was sent as a thank you for helping with house move. So far I have managed to sign up to photobucket and upload the photo but now have no idea how to share it.

if you hover over your photo, you will find a drop down box comes up with different labels, email, direct link, img, etc.

You want the last one, copy the IMG code.

Come back here, click on the insertimage.gif icon on top of the reply to thread box, paste in your url from the IMG code, you will need to remove the begining IMG and end IMG, as if this on twice, it will not post.

Click reply and hey presto one pic of flowers :D

    Oh, erm.

    Internet (20mb) £20
Line Rental £13.90 (hardly use the phone, my mum uses it say once a week to call her friend up).

Calls usually come to £4 a month as my mums on the phone to her friend for about 30mins each time.

    Total is £37.90

Don't have tv. Been with them since there where comcast!.

I did tell them once that i don't use phone much, or even call mobile's and they said i did!. It was one call for a minute or two
This is extortionate....even without any shopping around you can opt for BT's offer ...it's and 18 month contract but even so it's far better than the one you are on.
Unlimited Anytime calls....speed up to 20mg, downloads up to 10gb...4 months free then £16 a month....if you pay the line rental up front it's equivalent to £10 a month....you get a £50 Sainsburys voucher which ...with my calculations...

    4 months free then you will pay for 14 months @ £16 = 224 minus £50 = £174...divided by 18 = £9.66....add the £10 line rental and it's under £20 a month for all calls , broadband and line rental....saving you almost £18 a month....£216 a year....hope my calculations are right , it's a bit early and I had to use my thumbs as well as my fingers....hth

Hope you get better soon Aesop......you do seem to have had some health probs just lately....hopefully the weather will improve soon and everyone will feel bette for that....just to make you smile....

I got a phone call at 8pm on Wednesday night from my mother....she lives about 2 hours drive away and is 92 years old....
She said this ...." I didn't call you earlier as I knew you'd have probably come over and made a fuss, so now it's late I know you won't bother, but today I was having my hair done at home by the mobile hairdresser and apparantly I passed out , came round and passed out again...I wasn't too worried as I didn't know I had,but she was , she rang my doctor who told her to dial 999 for an ambulance.....very embarassing, was taken to A&E and was there for the afternoon, blood pressure was high , but that must have been because I had been in an ambulance and was then in the hospital, anyones blood pressure would go up with all that going on....but I'm fine now, but thought I had better tell you....not to worry and don't come driving all that way as I'm right as rain now...will stay in and watch TV with my feet up for the rest of the week"

Have phoned her several times since and she is waiting to see her doctor now to 'sort out ' her pills...hope I'm the same as her when I'm in my 90's....
