thanks BL! ordered SIL birthday card for free, but site is a bit expensive! and fiddly! will stick with funkypigeon, as can usually find a discount code somewhere!

Yes I agree - wouldn't carry on using it but came just at the right time to order BIL a card for his 50th in a week's time. TBH I prefer normal cards from a shop - lot cheaper!

  • I saved the gu coupon to my computer when it was still up and was wondering; are the glass ramekins with most of the desserts reusable for your own cooking purposes? I ask as my kids smashed two of our pot ramekins so if I can happen to get some 'free' ones while getting some tasty desserts at a considerably reduced rate at Mr S, I'll be in there like a shot :D xx

I don't think you can use them in the oven, I buy the cold deserts when they are reduced to clear because of the sell by date. I have never bought anything hot? do they do hot deserts that can be heated?

Coupon Woman is causing problems on coupon thread, poor CW wondered why I was talking about her, when I was talking about Coupon Woman.

Also Coupon Woman is asking her stores if they will accept extra coupons even if she hasn't bought the products.... guess what everyone will be trying? Let's wait to see how long before we get banned from using coupons altogether or the SA start checking EVERY ITEM against each coupon.

Already had this in Asda using the comfort pure and aeriel coupon. the SA told me it was due to abuse of coupons, people copying the coupon and it not scanning, and they accepting it, and losing money.

eek.gif CW go stand in the corner!rolleyes.gif You got twin cs.gif or imposter bricks.giffgrin.gif

Aesop, what's wrong with comfort pure moc? I printed them out from the pdf link?

I mentioned about CW's twin when she was away from MSE for a while, but then the twin went quiet, so I didn't mention it anymore. We all know it is not CW!

nothing wrong with them, mine wouldn't scan, they never do, so SA has to input manually, she was just telling me they have had a lot of fraud. But I knew that as all the coupon deposits on SS tills were covered over and you had to call SA who was checking each coupon and if you had bought the item. And I live in such a nice respectable area.....:rotfl:

Yep a couple of the desserts say they can be heated in the ramekins (the souffles and the melting chocolate puds) so presumably they are oven safe? Would think that they are using the same ramekins for all the puddings as they look the same on packaging?

ETA: on gu site they say they cannot be reheated after initial reheating, of said pud, which may just be to cover their back if they do crack at a later stage, ah well, will still make good cold dessert dishes
