embroidery machine help

hi, i am really spoilt , in august i spent £1000 on an embroidery machine but have not yet used it..i thought it would be great to embroider my bedding but when i have done that what will i use machine for then? does anyone know if you can make money using a machine at home ? things to sell on ebay i mean. maybe i should just sell it back on ebay..what do you guys think.. i,m not normally reckless with money and have not bought my self anything for years,i,m normally just happy fussing my animals and reading but i went a bit mad in august, i bought my self an embroidery machine and a box of hotel chocolates.

  • is that like the one that linda barker had on come dine with me - and she typed in "come dine with me" and it embroided automatically onto the napkins and she'd picked a colour to match her scheme - I've seen these on markets and they do them to embroider baby's blankets and fleece's with their names etc - or am I completely wrong - sorry if I've gone off at a complete tangent x

    Mojoworking, I saw that "come dine with me" with Linda Barker last yr and was so taken with the machine she used that I sent an email the the programme makers asking what make etc it was.

    They were less than helpful and refused to tell me anything.
  • I would love an embroidery machine and I reckon you could eventually get it to pay for itself if you did what mojoworking suggests and use it to embroider baby names on blankets etc. I am too much of a thinker and less of a doer to justify buying one. I did save up to buy one once but bought a new suite instead lol. At least I can sit on that and dream about buying an embroidery machine :rotfl:
