does anyone know how hard it is to get a business bank account? and is it correct I can not be a director of a business? could i put this in someone elses name?
thanks in advance...as a side issue if anyone wants any opinion on bankruptcy from my experience id be happy to give it...they seem very dark days but 2 years on things are good...keep your head up

Hi there, you are discharged from your BR as of 13/11/2009 and can therefore now be a Director of a Limited company.
So the question you need to ask is:
Does this business need to be a limited company or can I be self employed?
Have a look at Forming and Naming Your Business on the Business Link website.
You may have difficulty obtaining a business bank account and/or finance for your company, although that might be a little easier if you go Ltd. NatWest do a Foundation bank account which would be worth looking into as it's available for start ups and those with a poor credit rating. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN
