Hi guys,
Quick question, I am trying to get my hands on an ISBN database....pretty much what a site like Music Magpie uses to identify items.
I need this for collection purposes, but am drawing a blank on the net
Would anyone know where to turn??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Nielsen issue UK ISBNs and Bowker do for the US. Maybe those organisations can help you out.0

Or if it's for dvds, games etc, just use the one on Music Magpie?Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!!

if you have a smartfone, check out the (free) Red Laser barcode scanner app..
point your camera at barcode of whatever, the program captures info then compares prices online, or local shops (if enabled)..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

I would use the one's on there, however I am looking for the database to use on a gaming forum website that a bunch of us are trying to setup....hence the problem.
The three of us don't know where to turn...we essentially want the same sort of search option...to get reviews on games...etc..
Apparently I have been told that I need an EAN number database API??? What the???0 -

I'm not sure how a database of book numbers would help you get reviews on games.
I think you need to be more clear on what your requirements are.0
