This offer is still ongoing. I thought it was a new offer so I was going to post but done a search first..

I went into Boots today and checked my offers on my advantage card, something I never do. I printed off the 250 points voucher for 3 dental products.

Purchased 1 toothbrush and 2 x Colgate Whitening 100ml which is currently half price (I don't think this is in the current 3 for 2 promotion on the Colgate toothpaste. Total came to around £3.50 and received £2.50 back in points :)

I forgot to check when this voucher expires.

Can someone please tell me if you can print multiple vouchers for the same offer, I never thought to try and would imagine this offer won't be on if I put my card back in the machine.

As for the offers only being available to those who have a high points total, my balance is never more than £1 as I always forget to use it so the offer should be available to anyone.

you used to be able to print off multiple coupons in one go if you pressed the print button loads of time really fast but now it seems as tough you can only print of 1 each time. Also as for it being back on your card, i tried it Tues and got it and it disappeared but on Weds I checked and it was back again so it doesn't always gof or good. HTH

Machine in WGC allows you to print 2 coupons each time you put your card in the machine

    Went for the 3 x 70p toothpaste & 3 x 81p 500ml monthwash - essentials range

I only had £9 odd worth of points

Coupons are valid till 24th January

Basically you are converting pennies to points & getting 'free' goods (when selected carefully)

Shame you cannot pay with points as there would be no cost involved at all then

I wouldn't buy the products normally as tesco value 75ml toothpaste is only 17p & value mouthwash 600ml is 40p

While it may seem a good deal you have to take into account that boots prices are usually higher than supermarket prices for the basic essentials which is personally the only thing that interests me

Those 250 bonus points are only really worth what you would pay for the same goods at supermarket prices e.g. 3 essentials mouthwashes costing 243 pts would only cost £1.20 at tesco

    So 6 tesco 600ml mouthwashes costs £2.40 ... while 6 boots 500ml mouthwashes costs £2.43 (initial 3 x 81p outlay & 243 points redeemed for the other 3)

You need to be quite selective in how you spend the boots points to make it worthwhile i.e. choosing goods (you need) where the boots & supermarket prices are similiar

I don't think Boots allowing us to pay with points to get extra points is going to be cost-effective somehow ;)

This voucher wasn't on the machine for me today but I did get some coupons through the post and got 100 points on a £1.99 mascara.

I used the self checkout and the coupon didn't work so queued up. Handed item over (clear mascara with a fancy name) and the SA told me "This isn't a mascara". Cue me being rather

So I says "IT SAYS MASCARA ON THE TUBE"

SA scans coupon and says in a very surprised voice "oh it took it". :rotfl:

Honestly I got out of there fast before I said something I would have regretted. There was one of us being stupid and it weren't me! :p

Superdrug let you pay with points and earn extra points.

    October challenge £100 a day. £385/£3100
  • I have had some good coupons this month but haven't used my card for over a year so maybe that's why, I find boots expensive for toiletries but they have had some good half price offers. I bought 3x colgate whitening pumps, £2.60 reduced to £1.30. I had a 25% off coupon for one and also used the 250 points voucher for buying 3 items which I was pleased they took both vouchers together. So the 3 items cost £3.25 and as I usually go to poundland for my toothpaste I haven't really spent that much more and have extra points.

Another good thing with the Superdrug Beauty Card is you can use it as part payment.

I am another one that never goes to Boots for toilettries. Usually Body Care, Savers or Superdrug.

I like a good branded toothpaste such as Colgate or Beverley hills so I would not have gone for the 70p Boots toothpaste just to keep the cost down and for the free points.

I hardly get any offers and I've got over £100 in points. My daughter hardly gets any offers and she has £3 in points. Only thing she did get was a coupon for a free Benefit pore minimiser sample just before Christmas, but wait for it. Our store doesn't sell Benefit. Took it with us when we went to visit family in Norfolk and guess what, couldn't find a Boots in Norwich which sold Benefit either.
  • I spent loads today in boots - bought 3 fcuk bags and topped up with the 250 dental point and got 3 toothpastes and a 25% off showergel that was already half price plus 250 point on a £35 spend.

Bought some no7 make up, and used one £5 off on each product and then bought a half price blusher with me newly acquired 650 points! Blooming hard work though... and I spent a lot of money I could have saved!

Just quoting my own post to answer my own Q :)

Been to Boots an hour ago and popped my advantage card in the machine. The 250 points for 3 dental products voucher has returned. Unfortunately it would only let me print one (yet it let me print other offers 2 or 3 times), the offer has now disappeared. Will try again on Wed and Thurs to see if it returns again.
