First of all, hi to everyone! I'm new to the site and will be petitioning for bankruptcy in the new year. I work full time so I know that I will get an IPA for the 3 years....my question is pretty general, but can anyone tell me the typical allowance amounts that are currently granted by the OR for a single male (42), renting a room in a house in London (rent 700 pcm-all utilities and council tax inc.)...

..I'm thinking about things like food allowance, transport cost (in my case I need a monthly Zone 1+2 travelcard=£113 per month...will I get this amount in my IPA allowance?)...and also other allowances such as dental/optical, clothing and laundary, amount allowed to put towards a holiday etc...

...i also own two cats..am I allowed allowance for vet bills and innoculations for them?

...any information or advice would be great on the typical expenses that are allowed....

Cheers!

Why don't you post up your SOA and people on here will be able to give you advice?

There are guidelines from the ONS that the OR has, but it is important to note that these are guidelines only - there have been cases where people have put these figures on the paperwork, they tend to get told to re-do them during the interview.

the best advice is simply to put down what you need to spend
