If its a reasonable quality cake I would just keep it in the cake tin, lasts for weeks.Slimming World at target0

One of my aunts used to store her Xmas cake in a tin with an apple.(washed, dried but not peeled) She said it helped keep it moist. Not tried it myself though!0

I would remove any icing/marzipan before freezing it. Depends how long you want to store it for and how much alcohol is in the cake. Was it fed?Put the kettle on.
