In that case, check out the shelving unit between the TV's against the wall and the homewares aisles (just before the food section starts) - the batteries were in a box on the bottom shelf facing the TV's, though you may have to sift through the other reduced stuff dumped higgledy-piggledy:D
Over opposite the Crisps/drinks aisles (before the frozen section) are the DVD/CD/Game bargains.

Inspired by this thread, I went into Asda this morning and found a Morhpy Richards 3-in-one cordless multitool (carving knife, hand blender and mixer) reduced to £10.

It actually scanned through the till at £7.50 becuase the box was ripped :T :T

Gillette Gel antiperspirants (85g) are currently £1.39 at asda.com. They're £2.79 in Tesco. Just taken delivery of some with this week's other shopping.
Less stains on shirts than aerosols as well. I (and those in proximity of my armpits) swear by them

Though i think you'll find they're on BOGOF at Tesco, so only a 1p saving

Was in ASda, Cramlington earlier today and they've got 4 x 330mls of Gayners medium dry cider glass bottles for just a quid! Needless to say, grabbed a couple of them and am enjoying one with ice as I type :-)

I was just in Asda in Bangor, Northern Ireland and they have packs of 6 tins of john west tuna in brine for £3.48 or 2 for £4.
