Looking for a cheap basic PC? This Advent looks a good buy at under £150 from Currys e-bay site. Windows 7, Dual core processor, etc.
The RAM is a bit low but would be relatively cheap to upgrade.

Not too much point in upgrading the RAM much further without replacing the 32 bit copy of Windows from a cost/benefit PoV anyway. It's certainly not bad for what it is0
