                    hi my employer has now decided that we will not be paid double time for bank holidays when we work a night shift 10pm til 6am as they class after 8pm as being this next day's shift. is this right????

            And just as importantly - even if we knew whether overtime payments are contractual, there simply isn't enough information to give any meaningful advice. What exactly has the employer done, when and how; how long have you worked there; and any other information about what has happened.0
