3 Weeks which shocked the hell out of me and it was easily the most expensive prize I'd ever won in my life. The Ipod alone is worth £160.
However since the win here is now this strange feeling that I've used up all my luck and no more prizes will be coming my way but as long as I have spare time I may as well do these comps seeing as it really does cost me nothing.2007 Won Ipod 30GB Video Sold on ebay for £136.51
Total Winnings in 2007 = £136.51 :T
Total Winnings In 2008/2009/2010 = £0

I started entering comps in April 2006 and didn't win anything till Jan 2007 and went through a purple patch where it seemed like i was winning a prize every couple of days - lots of patience and it DOES pay off.0

Just wondered how long it took people to have their first win? I've been going for a while now and although still entering regularly am getting a bit disheartened - so some encouragement would be good to hear

Thanks (and hope i'm not in the wrong thread) catherine xxLearning valuable lessons everyday - made all the easier by the folks on here and my amazing family :T

Hi guys & gals,
How many comps do you guys enter??
I aim to enter 20 a day & have started doing this since the beginning of October.
I am yet to win anything, although most of the closing dates on the comps are yet to pass.
How many entries did you guys do before your 1st win?
Cheers

I enter between 10-50 daily. It was 6-8 weeks before I had my first win. Just luck of the draw really. I'm sure you'll have a win soon

Mine was four weeks to the day, I had worked my way through all the comps on her but only entered the ones I wanted to win so not all of them. I reckon I entered between 40 and 60 a day.

I think I probably enter around 100 per day. I started entering over a year since and got my first win about 3 weeks after starting, the first win was the best Ive had too, it was a nights dinner bed and breakfast at a boutique hotel in edinburgh.
once you start comping you have to bear in mind you might not win for a bit as some of the comps dont close for a bit
keep persevering, enter as many as you get time to. wins are like buses, none for a while then several at once!Weight Loss - 102lb0
