Thanks saorsie and welshgirl!wow! well done! I really must pull my finger out and write to all mine to see if any owe me money.
Aesop, it was super easy! This actually relates to a cover on my mortgage and I got myself all worked up about it, appealed for help on the PPI reclaiming boards, found where all the template letters were, researched mortgage PPI reclaim rates, and then rang ready to do battle. Conversation went like this ...
Me - I think I've been mis-sold my cover.
Them - I'm sorry to hear you feel you were mis-sold. We will look into it and get back to you with a decision within 14 days.
Me - is that it????????
Them - yes!

Not much to add today, spent all day walking round the Science and Natural History museums - which are in fact both still free, alas the rail fare and lunch were not (though if any of you plan to go they have a 'picnic' area where you can bring your own food).
I did complete another valued opinion survey which when it eventually credits will bring me up to my first £10 voucher from them.:j
Travelling back home tomorrow so will have full broadband access back and should be able to start clocking up my normal levels on swagbucks (you miss a lot of swagbucks when you can't run videos in the background all day). Adpoints too for that matter.0 -
Well done, please-let-me-be-lucky!!!!!! If claiming the PPI was that easy, I think I might have to look into claiming mine. Congrats again!
In other news, I received £4.10 today (for blog commenting).

Thanks Rosie
My laptop is slowly getting worse, but it's not too bad yet so I can put it off for a bit while I try and find a bargain
I've got £3.64 to add - I'd gone into the emergency credit on my gas meter when the battery died, someone came to replace it and the debt has been wiped... finally off the starting blocks! :j0 -
Great news on the ppi! I don't think I've ever had it...more's the pity!
Ebay sales closed today, £45.50 in total. I also used a £10 gift card that I forgot I had for my shopping in Tesco, which is a grand total of £55.50 today. I'm a little annoyed as I had pinecone vouchers in my purse that I forgot all about but I'm sure I can use them another time.Earn £10 a day JAN: £92.23 / £310 :j ...............NSD Jan 2/10

Well done everyone making money so far :T not easy straight after Christmas!
Not much to report yet- a refund of £3.40 for a book I'd bought online that was damaged- and the v. courteous seller told me I could keep the book as well! Then saved £2.30 with codes on an order and a further £1.97 by sharing postage costs with my Mum (ordering stuff together). A nice £7.67 for not much effortOptima semper libera sunt
