Yes you can count it as its £3 you wouldn't have had. Better still if you can put the £3 you saved in a savings pot or pay off a bill.
Great, thanks. Technically, it's already saved my overdraft, whch is my biggest problem at the moGOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Hi - new to all this but think this challenge re raising/saving £10 per day will help me focus on my goal to be debt free by the year end, so please count me in from the 3rd Jan.

Made a start today:
1. Returned unused Xmas gift to Boots - 800 points worth £8 back on loyalty card.
2. Sold £3.27 to MusicMagpie - seems a pitful amount for 10 DVDs but the titles were basically unsellable on eBay (I have tried) even at 99p so to get any return is better than none I suppose and I was never going to watch Tomb Raider 2 again, Angelina in a wetsuit or no Angelina in a wetsuit.
3. Didn't buy my normal Tuesday Euromillions ticket - paid £2 to my CC instead! I normally spend about £10 a week on lottery - intend to cut back to £2 on a Saturday and pay the saved £8 straight to my CC.
So day 1 of January Challenge for me looks like this: £13.27 / £290Make £10 a day in January 2012:
£193.02/£2900 -
I've got some old gold and silver I was thinking of taking into the jewellers to sell just before Christmas, but didn't, as we managed without the extra money. I think i'll trade it in this week, we can use the money to pay off some debt, it's pointless having the stuff just cluttering up my drawers. Must remember to exchange my found euros in the post office this week also. I've also signed up to swag bucks, it seems a bit like piggy points which I did very well with, let's hope I do as well with these!0

Hmmm I've logged on to musicmagpie and uploaded 16 games/DVDs. The value is about £33 but I'm planning a car boot this Sunday so I'm not going to go with the website option until next week...Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!
