Thank you beccie, fairy and CP. I'm so relieved!! DH had a motorbike accident in June and spent 9 weeks in hospital with a severe brain injury. He's still off on the sick now but has been laid off his work anyway on the grounds of reduced capabilities (he was a roofer and cant go up-a-height now), so when he's able to work again he will have to find something else. He has ongoing memory and cognitive problems but is improving all the time thank god. There was a point when we didnt know if he'd make it:eek:. Anywhoo, the critical illness insurer said severe brain injuries weren't covered  (whats not critical about that??!!??), but that strokes were. They've reviewed all his scans etc and the bleed in his brain at the time of the accident was in the same place as a stroke would be so they are paying out on that.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Got back this afternoon and the post man had been, another £25 birthday cheque to add from my Dad:D.
I'm thinking about putting that and the £50 from my Mum toward the new TV, I really need. (I only want 19" so that would almost cover it).
Congratulations p-l-m-b-l on your payout, it must be a relief after such a stressful time. Good luck chasing the rest, give 'em hell.0 -

I'd be inclined to wait until someone confirms they have received payment if they have some iffy reviews - could just be someone moaning for no particular reason!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Just made £10 selling some bits but have postage fees to come out of that too, also have a few more to sell.
I also had a list on Zapper for £25 but it needed me to print off a postage label, but I am on an iPad and don't have a printer. Is there anyway around this do we know?
