Won GHDs.. but slight issue, calling all Spalding residents!

Only problem is I hadn't realised when I entered the competition that it was collection only... I have emailed the salon but for the reason below they cannot post the prize out.

'We have to ask GHDs permission to advertise and promote they're products, even though we are giving them for free, and part of their terms are that they will only honour the guarantee for the irons if they are collected from the salon by the recipient which is supported by photographic proof of collection.'

Don't suppose there is any slim chance anyone in Spalding would mind collecting the prize for me? I am more than happy to cover the cost of postage and add a little extra in for doing me a massive favour!

I figured no harm in asking.

Sorry - I don't live near, so could not help, but how would you get around the photographic ID anyway?

From what I understand photo Id from the winner isn't required. The salon just needs to take a picture of the person collecting the straighteners from the salon to meet ghds terms.
