This person is a newbie poster and has tried to make a post which they thought would help others. Maybe some people would be interested in buying the magazine to get the DVD if it's something they were interested in.

Although it might be in the wrong forum, some people could still get some use from it. I don't think there is any need for him to get abuse - just explain which the correct forum should be (I am not 100% sure myself where giveaway CDs/DVDs from magazines and papers go....)

BTW, darktechno might not have chosen the most polite form of words (understatement) but it is intensely frustrating with the sheer volume of "freebie" posts that are in fact not - either they require a purchase or p&p is involved.

problem is there isn't a forum called Freebies (some spend required) Board so no obvious place to post it. maybe a board admin could create one or something
