can MSE please not go down this path again.

Even if his problem is ludicrous, of his own creation or possibly fake, don't mock people like this, the leg stretching thread was a low point for MSE. No matter how "stupid" someone is or how terrible the decisions they've made are, give them some respect.

If you can't then go and post somewhere else, don't mock people who are desperate for help, they don't deserve it. Nobody deserves it.
So it's ok for you to say he has a ludicrous problem and how stupid someone is etc.
There is an element of dark humour on the Loans board, most posters know that.
The OP hasn't expressed distress at my post, and if he does - I will be the first to apologise.

I didn't say anything of the sort. I said that even if someone is being stupid/ridiculous then you're still not right to mock them. Whether or not the OP here complains it doesn't matter, it lowers the tone of the forum a lot and makes it look very unfriendly to newcomers.

This guy clearly has a problem he needs to sort, while one jokey/snide comment might not affect him, when an entire thread devolves into relentless mocking (I was here for the leg stretching thread, don't pretend that wasn't disgraceful behaviour from all) it can be very disheartening.
