B & Q Sale Con

I went to the Rhyl branch of B & Q on 26th December. The store was full of massive signs saying we will beat any price. I wanted to purchase some Franke taps at £99. The same signs were on the shelf edges all around the taps. I did an Internet search and found them at numerous retailers for around £60 -£65. I went to the check out and showed them to the assistant on my Iphone. She called the manager because they were more than £25 under the B & Q price. He said they didn't honour Internet prices! I pointed out all there signs including the ones by the taps. He just shrugged his shoulders and said it was store policy. I ended up buying them from Debenhams online for £62.

1. So much for the B & Q sale if they are over 60% more expensive.
2. Why put up massive posters saying we beat any price when you don't. Or at least make sure they say (does not include Internet prices).

Hi thought I would bump this as I'm needing to buy a kitchen and thought this would be a good way of getting it cheaper anyone. Lse had any experience of this offer yet?????
