Think I have failed miserably with this challenge - my usual routine all out of kilter - hoping to get myself back on track during the Easter hols
Will there be another challenge

We're almost at the finishing line. I had no idea it was almost here, good job I checked!
The finishing date approaches - It's Good Friday 6th Aprilfedupandskint wrote: »I'll start things off by saying I will not buy any Shampoo, Conditioner, hair serum, styling products, body moisturisers, hair dyes and cleansers, eye creams, toners, make up or moisturisers until I need anyfedupandskint wrote: »I'm also adding
NO BOOKS
NO DVDs
NO EXERCISE DVDs
NO SOAP - loads already
NO SKINCARE UNTIL ALL ARE USED UP
How have I got on? Pretty well overall
No books, DVDs or exercise DVDs, soap bought
Some skincare bought - one moisturiser bought when had one hiding in the cupboard which I didn't realise was there and a body lotion on offer but both will get used up over the next couple of months for certain.
No make up bought either - found this hard to stick to at times and had to keep the thought of how much I have in my head to keep me strong - it worked though! Did manage to use up a mineral face powder and I'm currently trying to get through a mineral foundation in a very large size. Have been using it for quite a few months now. Will have a break for the summer then back on to it again in the autumn when I'm back to fair again.
Treat pot stands at £42 :j Very pleased with this over the last 100 days.
How have you got on over the last 100 days? I'd love to know.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Don't worry Igamogam, life does get in the way of things sometimes.
If you would like another challenge then we will go for it again.
Anyone else like to join in from Saturday 7th April for 100 days?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Thanks Fedupandskint, I've not got on too badly - only a couple of minor lapses:
1) No McD*n*lds at all:T:T:T
2) One candle bargain (normally would have been at least one a week) that I couldnt resist
3) No books (except bought for gifts and actually given!) with a total of two read.
Only £11in the slush fund though so I would like to join in with part two please.....
I will keep the same three challenges as I still have lots of candles and books and am no longer missing disgusting burgers. I think I should add in
4) no shower gel.... (I have at least enough for 100 days) and 5) no shop bought biscuits. (I have a shelf full and really shouldnt be eating them any way!)
I think I will change the saving system so that I put a pound in the slush fund for every day that I stick to the rules.... does that sound ok?
Thanks for organising it. :kisses3:DFWNerd 1417

Well its the final day of the challenge. How did it go for you?
I'm pleased with how I've done as listed above and had a little smile today as an eye cream was used up on the last day of the challenge meaning another £1 went into the pot leaving me with a total of £43 for the 100 days.
Shall we start again on Monday and have the weekend off? (Only if we don't go mad and relapse)
If you would like and would find it a help, I'm happy to start the next challenge on Monday 9th April, always feels better starting on a Monday.100 days start Monday 9th April and finish on 15 July
Let's see how we get on and build on our progress

Wow - I can't believe that 100 days has gone already.
I bought no more cleaning products at all (and still have loads left),
Bought no makeup at all,
Only had to buy 1 bottle of bubble bath as I ran out of stuff for the bath.
It certainly made me think twice...
Oh, and I had £31 in my £1 for using stuff up pot. There won't be as much as that next month.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Hi all wow that's the end of the challenge already that has gone quick. I think Ive done well I have only brought what I needed bar one splurge. My two boxes have been reduced to half a box which means when I move I have less to shift
Before the challenge finished I used up a perfume sample a shower gel and a nail polish remover
Many thanks to Fed up for running this challenge and long may it continue and count me in xxx0 -
