  • What a great idea! Thank you. I'd like to combine with my SPC and put my savings in my SPC (which is also my mortgage pig)

    1) I promise to stop buying books from charity shops (I read so few because I'm asleep before I get to the second paragraph!) £2 for each one I read I think as its so rare!

    2) I will stop buying candles... I have a cupboard and a drawer full! Is it ok if I put 50p a candle in as I often burn a couple of tealights every day? Perhaps a pound for the bigger candles.

    3) I'm not going to go to McDonalds for 100 days (oooo- that will be hard!) I would normally go at least once a week so I think a pound a day should be about right....

    Does that sound ok?

Please can I count today as day 1?

Today is day 32 for me.....

    1) still not finished reading a book  but havent bought any either:T:T:T
    2) Have only burned 2 tea lights (£1 in the pot) and have resisted buying any so far....:A

    3) Have not been to MacDonalds at all so £32 in pot :j:j

Hope you are all feeling as good and as proud as I do about changing habits.

Thanks to all of you for your support.

Its the halfway point today and 50 days completed

I hope we're all doing well and getting steadily through our stash without going bonkers replacing what we've used up.

My £1 treat tin is now at £32 after 50 days - not bad going and much more than I thought!

Here we go onwards for the next 50 days to our completion day of 6th April :D

  • Hi everyone

My 100 days challenge finishes today!
My totals are: toiletries 99, clothes 96 and craft 92.

Quite surprised as I thought 29th was the 100th day, but my day tracker app says 100 days is up today. So hey ho!

It can be done. I never thought I'd manage such high totals as I have. If you think you'll get there, you will. Just keep taking a day at a time. And, like I did, avoid the places that might tempt you!
