Morning
Hope everybody is looking forward to :xmastree:
Only a few more sleeps and even better only a few more days left at work!! :rotfl:
All being well come payday I worked out that between us we have saved/OP's £21,200 this year!! :j:j
I think thats pretty good as certainly havent felt like Ive scrimped on things, we have still had the odd (or more than that!) takeaway/meal out, been on hollibobs (twice in fact! ) and paid off c/c for a car plus house bits! If we can do all that and save that much, 2013 should be off to a fab start!
Is it too early to be thinking about new years resolutions I wonder.....

I can sit ON a pair of size 10's....... or at least I probably could if I had owned a pair in the last 35 years
. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

HDK - Would a table be something you could get on freecycle? not sure what its like in your area?
Tilly- yep am soooo looking forward to the end of the year!! only 2 more days and not many more sleeps till :xmastree:
Radish- Thanks
Yes I can fit in them... I try them on for about 10 seconds to prove it, realise I cant move/sit down yet and change back into my baggy ones! :rotfl:
GG - I hadnt thought of using jeans as an alternative to cusions- I guess I could stuff the ones that still dont fit (there are many ... !) with stuffing and make into cushions... very MSE no? :money:
Right - need to get up and moving, crazy busy trying to finish everything off at work for the end of the year - always that time when going on holiday is more hectic than just saying at work!!
Only a few more sleeps till :xmastree: and then I can start formulating my 2013 resolutions!
At a guess they will be something along the lines of....
1) Keep food budget at £1200 or under.
2) continue to search for best deals/cashback on purchases and ask if its a "want" vs a "need"
3) See what "free" money can get from bank a/c switches/savings rates (must remember to change these when current ones run out!)
4) Keep on the health kick- definitely feel much better for it - especially the exercise! (I did ask Mrtyo whether he wanted to go for a run this morning but it was dark so he turned back over and went to sleep.... he promises he will go once Ive gone to work, which means I need to do one later to keep up with him!!)
Thats it for now - better go to actual work I guess!!
