I understand it's not this guys fault but telling me to come back to the site in 24 hours when the item was out of stock after I noticed the email is bloody annoying. The fact I'd labouriously put my credit card details in about five times with absolutely no result makes this an utter waste of my time. I have checked if this is a problem locally by trying it on another computer and yet again the same problem.

I already have an account with D2D, so gave them a ring after two of the three items I'd ordered showed up as out of stock when my order went through. They checked their stock and both the trainers and the leather jacket are in stock, but not at that price. I informed them that both items are still showing as in stock on the website at the reduced price and that it was still possible to put them in your basket and go all the way through to ordering, only to find them then showing as out of stock. I also mentioned that I'm not happy that I am now unable to cancel the order for the one (cheapest) item it'd let me finally order (almost doubling the cost of the item when adding p&p on top). It would be so much better if you were given the option to cancel the order should items turn out not to be in stock.


They've taken my comments on board and will be contacting me within the next few days to let me know if they will now let me have the items at the price shown on the website, as they do have stock. Here's hoping.

Darn it, I ordered 2x Pairs of these on 16th, but I've received nothing, and don't seem to have received a reference number, yet I remember making sure this order went through (in light of the pressure washer deal, and others). How on earth can I chase these up?

Happened to me ages ago as well when buying something else. Eventualyl I got a note saying item was out of stock and received only the other item. Got PP refunded at least.
