Annual Leave

I've searched the net but can't find anything.
I've worked in my current location since January 2011 (been with company for 3 years in April). My contract is scheduled to end on the 30th September but I need to know how much annual leave I'll get. Will it be the full 28 days or will it be less as it's not the full year?
My leave period is January - December.

You get it pro-rata so divide 28 by 52 then mulitply it by the number of weeks you have been employed since the leave year started then deduct the number of days you have taken as annual leave so far. That will give you a rough figure.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

As HappyMJ explained (but you seem determined to misunderstand?!), it's pro rata.
28 (days leave) / 365 (days a year) = 0.0767
0.0767 x 274 (days you will work in 2011) = 21 days
So you'll get 21 days leave. If you take more than that before you go your final salary will be deducted with the days owed. If you don't take it, then it will be owed to you.
Moreover, if you have had more than one year's continuous service (or more than two after April, assuming the law change goes through), then they must follow the correct procedure in ending your contract as per a redundancy and pay you redundancy pay as well.
HTH
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Don't forget the redundancy payment if they don't renew as you have worked for more than 2 years0
