IPL system - me my elos or Boots Smooth Skin PLUS?

Both are same price at Boots. Asked instore and the assistant was very helpful - she couldn't tell me which one worked better, but said she sold more of the Smooth Skin Plus.

So does anyone have a elos? Did a search on here and no threads came up on elos - found lots of mixed reviews on Smooth Skin.

Not seen the elos machine but did used to have a boots one. It really depends what area you are treating. I wanted to do my legs but the boots one was not suitable for this. you have to wait about 6 -10 seconds in between each shot. This does not sound very long but when you are trying to treat a large area it really is!! Takes a good couple of hours to do 2 lower legs. It only lasted me about 6 months and then stopped working. Have to say Boots were fantastic and offered to replace it straight away. i decided to pay a bit extra and got the philips one that is about £350. This is much better for larger areas but you can't use it on your face.
