Mortgage from specialist lenders to Banks?

If I was to get a mortgage from a specialist lender as I have a CCJ

Would I be able to change to a high street bank/ lender with better intrest rates after the CCJ is removed from my record?

And is there a huge different between high street lenders to specialist mortgage lenders?

thanks for any advice.

Assuming you met criteria for a high street lender you could apply to change.

Specialist lender rates are generally higher but the mortgage would operate in the same way as any other.

Is the CCJ your only credit issue? When was it put in place and for how much? What deposit do you have and how much do you want to borrow?
