My wedding ring...

We've just come back from shopping, and have put a £10 deposit down on my wedding ring
here it is:

A few things. 1. is 15 points of diamonds a lot? and 2. Does this ring sound all together good value?
It looks so much better in real life. It is stunning and fits perfect with my engagement ring (my engagement ring has sort of one diamond in the middle then 2 either side, so its been hard to find a style that fits).

Also, I just noticed that you can't see a hallmark on the photo and I forgot to ask... I'm gonna try ring them and check its hallmarked. What do I do if its not?0

You need to remember that its your wedding ring and what you want...therefore dont worry what anyone else thinks of it....you love it and thats what matters...
Well done on finding your ring!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Rang them and they said its a legal requirement that everything is hallmarked. I wanted to make sure it was hallmarked purely to know the quality of the gold.
Thank you though
Anyone had any experiences with Chapelles?0 -
Also, just have to say the service we recieved was outstanding. The woman stood with us for around 30 minutes letting me try on any rings I liked, changing them, advising me, then getting me to keep going back to the one I liked to make sure.
She was brilliant, especially compared to the miserable old bag we saw in argos who made us feel like we shouldn't try them and should just buy!0 -
Ah its lovely0

I used to work in Argos and to be fair to us, we weren't properly "trained" on any station. The woman who probably tried to help you has no experience of selling jewellery or what might look the best or be the best for you because it's just a store and they're there to get sales and to get people to sign up for an Argos card.
Also to be fair, half the time we only had a selected amount of rings in and usually they were only in one size (and she was probably miserable cos she's had to spend a week before Christmas being shouted at by customers who are waiting for their orders which haven't been stock checked in the warehouse so there isn't actually one there for the customer.)
But still, it made me laugh.❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

It wasn't a case of being trained. It was a case of she was just plain rude! No decent customer service at all. If that was me, I'd be more than happy to help even if I didn't know about the rings etc, rather than grumbling away at the customer asking to try a different one on!
There were my size rings in, but she just seemed so agitated by me asking about various rings.
And on the argos card side... I'm sick of being asked. I tried to sign up for one and they refused me. Dispite me having no other credit cards or anything. The SA even told me last time when I said that, that argos are tight on who they let have them, which sort of defeats the point in trying to push everyone into having one!
Anyway, this is a thread about my wedding ring that I didn't get from argos so I'd like to leave that thanks.0 -
I didn't intend to cause any offence, was just giving my experience of Argos, particularly as the comment made me chuckle and reflect on some of the people I used to work with (and your description fit a few of the people I once worked with.)❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

Ah sorry, I thought you were having a dig. My apologies.
I just don't see how those people get away with being so rude0
