Re-employment in Civil Service after Voluntary Redundancy

My question is hypothetical at present but briefly my situation is this. I left the Scottish Government (a Civil Service department) at the end of March this year on voluntary severance (redundancy). I received a compensation package in the form of a lump sum.
I started a new job several months ago. I enjoy the job, but it's a fixed term contract, not very taxing and the pay is low, so I have been applying for permanent positions which are better paid and more challenging.
This included applying for a job in a different UK Government department. I was surprised at them recruiting in the current climate, and didn't expect my application to get very far, but I have now been advised I have been selected for interview.
Does anyone know if I would have to repay some of my redundancy compensation payment if I am successful in securing this job?
The only condition made clear to me upon leaving the Scottish Government was that I couldn't work for Scottish Ministers for 12 months through a recruitment agency - there was no mention of UK Ministers or UK Departments.
I wondered if anyone else has been in this situation and could maybe advise? Thanks in advance.

It's down to internal policy - some parts of the civil service will never re-recruit someone who has taken voluntary redundancy in another part of the service.0

I took voluntary redundancy from the Civil Service in August 2010 and in the paperwork it stated that I would have to pay back the full lump sum payout if I was to be re-employed within 6 months. After that I would not have to pay any of the money back.0

This isn't the rules - it's general guidance. As I said, some departments will never re-employ someone who has taken voluntary redundancy. In some cases it is a blanket ban, in others it depends on the grade of posts involved - and in some it is unoffocial policy since you will never know the real reason you didn't get a job.0
