We all dislike Payday loan companies, why not beat them at their own game?

No one likes pay day loan companies but I would be surprised if they spontaneously disappeared from our high streets. What if we beat them at their own game?

What would it take to set up an ethical pay day loans company that would advise customers how to cope without pay day loans? How difficult would it be to run a pay day loans company that did not have staggeringly high interest rates or hidden processing fees?

If a pay day loans company could be run with cheaper reasonable rates of interest and up front pricing plans I would hope that either the other companies out there would go out of business or change the way they operate.

Credit Unions would meet a lot of those criteria and should be used more widely by people who might otherwise end up in the hands of the payday loans companies.
