tesco xmas stuff glitch. half price AND 342

i just brought 6 rolls of tesco vaule xmas paper. was 14p now 7p. went through the till as 7p but also took of a extra 14p for the 3 for 2 offer. this was in a extra store. £astbourne

Not a glitch

They legally have to do it as on the shippers they have printed 3 for 2 on some of them. Therefore they need to honor the 3 for 2 regardless to what price they put the wrap too.

I agree it's not a glitch but a very good price, I bought 3 x £5 wrapping packs that were reduced to £2 and got all 3 for £4 due to the 342, this was on Xmas eve.

Yeah they will prob be trying to get rid.
I have seen them do buy one get 3 free in tesco

Op did it take off 14p for the 6 rolls or 2 x 14p, 2x14p would be a glitch as it would be taking the full price off as 3 for 2 instead of half price.

Not sure the op said it took off 14p which is right for 6 rolls 2x7p but as you say if it actually took off 2 of the original price 2x14p that would be a fab glitch.

I got 3 rolls reduced from £2.50 to £1.25 and only took £1.25 off for the 342 not the original £2.50 so no glitch in mine

tescos at durham at lunch time had the 3 for 2 and reduced working, they were trying to hide the 3 4 2 labels so customers didnt realise even heard 2 of the SA saying the paper hadnt been reduced yet.....lol oh yes it has , got 9 rolls for £5 approx only taking reduced price off though

Better than stingy Boots who remove all sign of any 3f2, so it was a bit like 33 per cent off before Xmas when getting 3f2 and only increased discount by 17 per cent to half price. Thx OP!
