hi all,
i was wondering if anyone knows how i can add airmiles to my virgin flying club other than with tesco clubcard points?
I have a virgin credit card and i have virgin tv and broadband and wondered whether they did airmiles for any of those.
Any help would be appreciated, many thanks
Matt

Air Miles were a separate scheme now wound up and renamed Avios, Virgin's Miles scheme was in house, so I'm assuming you meant the latter, miles for Virgin flights only?
If you have the original Virgin Money credit card operated by MBNA then ring the 0800 number and check if that does earn you anything, otherwise you might have to apply for the new Virgin Atlantic card split across Amex and one of the big two providers, the same way Air Miles used to do it (MBNA still runs the non-Amex side of the deal). They told me that their credit card will both earn you new miles and keep your existing ones active for longer than the expiry date from whenever you earned them.
Balance transfer is no great shakes at 6 months but the card is all about earning miles, no idea whether you get the same time period on purchases.0 -

Worth trying the online shopping scheme they do. Often a way of boosting the miles on simple purchases on there0
