Hi Guys,
Just want some feedback please, I have tried selling clothes on Ebay a few times now, all good high street brands, (Next, M&S, Zara, Wareouse etc..) I think reasonably priced and low enough P&P, plus have put plenty of pics up. However, the just never seem to sell! Am I doing something wrong, or do other people out there find it difficult to sell. I would really appreciate some tips if there are any out there....I feel really dis-hearted and am thinking about just giving them to charity shops just to get rid, but was trying to raise some cash to eliminate my O/Draft!!
My friend is really successful at selling on ebay, I just don't know what I am doing wrong...Please help!!!!!!!:A

Do you have any positive feedback yet? Ideally purchase a few cheap items and pay promptly to get a score of at least one or two as a starting point for selling. Noone wants to buy off of an unknown quantity.Earn £10 a day JAN: £92.23 / £310 :j ...............NSD Jan 2/10

Hello, I often sell items from the brand names you mentioned and they seem to go well. However I do avoid this time of year as people are generally busy with xmas shopping and then sales for their bargains.
Try again in a couple of weeks, but also consider searching for similar items already listed on ebay - see how many bids they've had (place them in your 'watched' list so you can see how they finish), check how many people have visited those pages and see how that seller has listed them - title, photos, description, starting price etc. Also, do you have much feedback at present? I built up my ebay score buying stuff initially so I already had positive feedback, then started selling, I'm always cautious of buying from people who have no or very little feedback and always view the feedback comments before buying from ebay.
Hope this helps, don't give up0 -

it really is all about the marketing. Do do an advanced search for something similar to what you're selling and tick the box to include items already finished. Then you will get an idea of what the people who are selling at better prices are doing differentlyDF as at 30/12/16

I think the description/title and pictures definatly make a huge difference to how an item sells. I always iron and lay them out on something white and take the pictures in daylight (not with a light on at night for instance) Make sure the title has the size/brand etc and make sure your description is detailed enough but not too long.0

I have done most of that, did take photos at night, but they are on a white blanket and can be seen very well.
