Major Tom, did you buy at the store, or did you by it on line, if so, when?
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark
  • I reserved it online, then picked it up from the store! Ok, maybe I've got no chance of a refund, I've got a younger daughter who could benefit from it in a little while when she's slightly more able.
I'd just like to say, I am very careful with my daughters safety, she likes rides etc at theme parks which a lot of children same age are timid of. I don't force her to do anything and don't want her to have an accident. She has the Barbie ride on from Toys r us which is freewheel, and she loves it! When she compares her princess bike, her scooter and now her Barbie 3 wheeler to the Kitty kart, it just doesn't compare! I do kick myself as I looked at the kart in store before I picked it up but never went to examine the pedals. Honestly if anyone has this kitty kart, why is there a hand brake? I can't see why its needed!
  • Just want to say, I spoke to customer services about returning the kart even though it was at home still and they said it would be fine for a refund or credit note! At moment still have the kart, hoping my girl warms to it!

I had a go cart like this when I was 5, I went for miles & miles in it.

Fixed pedals is the most common way of making them, its is what is tio be expected when purchasing a go cart.

Perhaps the OP should supervise the child and not play on a hill with it.

Next they will be saying it has no brakes so cannot be used on a hill.
