M&S are doing a Cello 32" with dvd player for £199. They advertised it for an additional £50 off on xmas eve but didn't allow anyone to buy at £149, said it was a pricing error although they left the offer on for 48hrs. at least. Anyway, the Cello tv's are apparently M&S tv's with different branding and the feedbacks are very good.

hi i got one of these and they are giving me the extra £50 off once delivered . as had a screen shot of it. and had called in regarding it twice. so for £149and a 5 yr gaurantee for my girls room im happy with that..

Nope, fill out the form first and wait for there reply, they will email you back in about a day :j
Put in a John Lewis price match request for the Samsung 32", to see if they would match the Richer Sounds price.

JL replied on Monday to say they would, but at that time it was out of stock.

Received an email this morning to say it's back in stock, so have just ordered it.

I was told that I would have to request a refund of the price match difference once I receive the product.

Thanks for your help everyone. :)

I've been keeping my eyes on televisions. My impression is that at the moment there are some cheap deals on televisions, but they all appear to be in the low spec ranges. E.g. the Toshiba 32" for £199, the Panny 32" for £249 etc. Even if you go to a Sony KDL32CX523 (or similar code) which isn't a particularly high spec TV, the prices are quite a bit more than they were a few months ago.

Still dithering off which tv to go for.
Spent so much time dithering that the 27" I was going to go with at M and S has now gone out of stock!
To youfolks who got the 32" cello out of M and S what do you think of it. My budget is only £199 as it's for a kids bedroom. So was thinking about this one or the price match on the Samsung with JL. Also saw a 26" sharp LC26SH330E for £179.95 at Richer Sound.
I'm geting more and more confused looking at all these different tvs so any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
