What percentage of uk gdp is related to the taxation of Euro funds held in uk banks????
In other words. If the Euro colapses how much of our gdp would disappear?
I seem to remember this as being a vast amount, 20%... is this right??

I'm not sure that you mean about taxation on euro funds.. what tax is that?
when you say collapse of the euro, do you mean if say Greece leaves?0 -

I don't have the figure to hand but it seems on the high side to me. The UK doesn't even have a withholding tax (a tax on share dividends and bond coupons/interest paid by non-residents).
Perhaps the figure was that 20% of bank deposits are in Euro....?0
