Didn't want a sharpener or pencils but can always use batteries and I like amaryllis - don't know if it's advisable keeping it for mother's day though.

Thank you, I had one once as a gift and left it in the box thinking I would get to it later....about 6 months later I opened the box and it had grown and bloomed in total darkness with no soil, it was completely white and like paper I have felt bad about that for years - I have a chance to redeem myself.
