Well had three boxes and three red bulbs! So only missed one out of six which not bad going.
Also got nice roll of red tissue paper and two packs of Xmas cards which are quite nice for £1 each.
Says to have bulb in 21 degrees to germinate so if our houses are cool may last in box - will post a question on the gardening thread methinks!

Had some expert advice from the gardening thread:
You can start them off as late as April, but they never (IMOP) flower as well. Check the bulbs aren't showing growth, as it can be warm in shops and once they are growing it is best to let them get on with it.

rang viking just now as not heard from them and still no goods. Turns out, I cannot have an account as not a business (even though it allowed me to sign up for one without business details). I sign into the account and both orders show processed and have delivery dates and nothing has been done with them. They haven't rung or emailed me to say there is a problem. They are ringing me back soon to take payment details from me. My order hasn't even been picked yet so will miss out on freebie grrr. not very happy
  • My sharpener and bulb arrived today! :j I didn't expect them to honour this so was well pleased!
  • Just been to Lidls and they have these in (different box but exact same product) and they were £5 reduced to £2.50 - so we got a good bargain
    1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
    10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
    50p: Christmas presents £3.50
    £2: holidays £2.00

I ordered telephone wipes - they came today ,but they said the freebie was out of stock.
No suggestion that it would be sent when available so very disappointing.
I only ordered once and i really wanted the amaryllis .
    What a let down! :(
  • Its because I am away till 5th that it looks like I am going to completely miss out! :-(

Wish I'd ordered it to come to my daughters address now as I PRESUME it will be processed very late as the delivery date is very late???

Would LOVE it if they packed them in order of time ordered and then 'kept' them in a mail room till delivery date was due?

Doubt very much it happens like this though! lol
  • Mine arrived yesterday - thanks OP!

Another reply from the gadening board:
For Christmas we got amaryllis in a glass pot from M&S.
When we opened it, it was already half grown with one stem reaching the top of the deep pot. Check your amaryllis, it might not last until Mother's day and in that case you could just give your Mum half grown plant.

I'd ask for something else as the gift. It never said one per customer or 'while stocks last'.

I had one box without the gift and they said I'd already had one - but I emailed today to say it was definitely 'one er order' so will see what reply I get.
